Brandon Jones (No. 19 overall recruit, No. 1 S recruit)

Brandon Jones, a 6-foot, 190-pound safety from Nacogdoches, Texas, took an official visit to Arkansas and will take a trip to Baylor to close out his schedule. The visit to Arkansas was a great one, but we still feel it will be an in-state school.

Nigel Warrior (No. 20 overall recruit, No. 2 S recruit)

Nigel Warrior is a Tennessee legacy and he is visiting Knoxville this weekend, but Auburn appears to have some real momentum less than a week out. The Tigers had an in-home visit Thursday and Auburn could be closer to closing this one out than most think.

Tyrie Cleveland, a 6'3", 190-pound wide receiver from Spring (Texas) Westfield, has now been on trips to TCU and Arkansas and will finish out his schedule with Florida. The Gators will get the last shot at him. He is considered a Houston ‘soft verbal’, so if there is a decision to be made, we will be watching for a flip.

Jeffrey McCulloch, a 6'3", 225-pound outside linebacker from Houston (Texas) Davis, is involved in an interesting battle. He has already visited Stanford, has Texas on deck and Alabama following. The No. 1 OLB in the Midlands will be a signing day decision. The common thought here is that the Texas Longhorns continue to stand in a good spot to sign him.

Dontavious Jackson (No. 65 overall recruit, No. 4 ILB recruit)

Dontavious Jackson, a 6'2", 240-pound middle linebacker from Alief (Texas) Elsik, is probably the hardest prediction to make in Midlands recruiting. Look out for the Longhorns if he does make an unofficial visit to see the school the final weekend before signing day. He had a great time at Alabama, so it may be a Big 12 vs. SEC battle.

LaVert Hill (No. 97 overall recruit, No. 7 CB recruit)

LaVert Hill Hill took an official visit to Michigan State, where the Spartans have momentum, but on his way back home, he made a stop over in Ann Arbor to see the Michigan coaches. There are plenty of people within his sphere of influence who would be considered pro-Michigan State and there are plenty who you'd consider pro-Michigan. This will be a tough decision for the kid. Michigan State would still be the school that's trending here, but there are still people close to him saying it's Michigan.

Shyheim Carter (No. 98 overall recruit, No. 8 CB recruit)

Ole Miss is the school getting the final official visit for Shyheim Carter and he has a lot of connections to the Rebels class, but for years now, he has been Jeremy Pruitt's guy.  Pruitt is the defensive coordinator at Alabama and the Crimson Tide are trending here.
