Hamilton Tiger-Cats' Allen Rudolph becomes Arkansas State O-line coach
Hamilton Tiger-Cats offensive line coach Allen Rudolph has accepted the same position under Arkansas State coach Blake Anderson, according to a source.
Rudolph has served in his role with the Canadian Football League’s Tiger-Cats for the past three years after coaching the offensive line at Northwestern State in ’12.
He coached at Southeastern Louisiana for five years before that, coaching the offensive line for the first three before becoming the offensive coordinator from 2010–11. Rudolph was the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach at Samford from ’05–06.
He coached the offensive line at East Mississippi Community College in 2004 after two years in the same role at Louisiana-Monroe. He also coached the offensive line at Mississippi College from 2000–01.
Rudolph got his start in coaching at Nicholls State as the tight ends and offensive line coach from 1995–97. He became Nicholls State’s tight ends, running backs and special teams coach in ’98 before serving as Copiah-Lincoln Community College’s offensive coordinator and offensive line coach in ’99.
He played center at Nicholls State from 1989–93.
At Arkansas State, Rudolph joins up with Anderson, who has a 16–10 record in two seasons with the Red Wolves. The 46-year-old Anderson led Arkansas State to a 9–4 mark and a Sun Belt championship this season, as the Red Wolves went 8–0 in conference play.
