Down eight at halftime, the top-ranked Oklahoma Sooners charged back in the second half to top unranked LSU 77–75 in Baton Rouge, La.

Buddy Hield led the Sooners by scoring 21 of his game-high 32 points in the second half, and Isaiah Cousins finished the job, hitting an elbow jumper with just six seconds remaining in regulation.

Following the shot, LSU’s Tim Quarterman raced the length of the floor to try for an answer, but was denied at the rim by Khadeem Lattin.

Cousins finished with 16 points on 8-of-14 shooting, with seven assists, four rebounds and four steals.

Oklahoma improves to 18–2, while LSU falls to 13–8.
