Watch: Hield's potential winner from half-court waved off
Buddy Hield hit a game-winning shot from half-court that would have given Oklahoma a 70–69 victory over West Virginia on Friday night, but was waved off upon further review because it was ruled he didn't get the shot off on time.
Earlier in the day, UConn's Jalen Adams hit a three-quarters-court shot with 0.8 seconds remaining to send the game against Cincinnati to a fourth overtime.
Hield started the final play with 1.8 seconds left on the clock. Shortly after banking the shot, Hield was celebrating with fans and teammates before officials reviewed the shot and determined it had left his hand after the buzzer.

Instead of his Adams moment, Hield may be feeling like Eric Devendorf during the six-overtime Syracuse clash against UConn in 2009.
West Virginia advanced to the Big 12 championship game against Kansas.
