Ex-Oakland center Sebastien Bellin injured in Belgium terrorist attacks
Former Oakland University basketball center Sebastien Bellin is reportedly among the several people injured by the terrorist bombings at the Brussels airport on Tuesday morning, according to Mark Snyder of the Detroit Free Press.
A photo surfaced on social media of Bellin, who plays professionally in Europe, on the ground with a bleeding leg. Oakland coach Greg Kampe and assistant coach Saddi Washington were told that he was at the airport and was near the site of one of the blasts, according to the Free Press.
BC Oostende, Bellin's former club, announced on Twitter that the 37–year–old was thrown about 20 meters in the explosion.

Kampe tweeted that Bellin was injured and would have to have surgery.
Bellin will have to have two surgeries, the second of which will remove shrapnel from his hip, The Detroit Free Press reports.

Bellin, 37, was the center on Oakland's 2000 Mid-Continent Conference title team. He also played two seasons at Marist.
At least 30 people have been killed as a result of the terrorist attacks.
