CBS and Turner Sports have introduced Ne-Yo as the new “One Shining Moment” artist, reports SI.com’s Richard Deitsch.

A version of the song performed by the three-time Grammy winner will air following the first-ever team-specific broadcasts of the national title game on TNT and truTV, in conjunction with the team-centric highlights airing during the Team Stream presentations. The version by the late Luther Vandross will air on TBS.

The annual tradition concludes CBS and Turner’s broadcasts with a montage of memorable highlights and low points from the year’s tournament.

The song, originally written by David Barrett, was first used after Indiana defeated Syracuse in the 1987 NCAA championship game. Barrett’s original was used from 1987 to 1993, and then again from 2000 to 2002. CBS also used renditions by Teddy Pendergrass from 1994 to 1999 and Vandross from 2003 to 2009, as well as from 2011 to 2015. Jennifer Hudson’s version was used for the 2010 broadcast.
