Milwaukee is expected to hire Michigan assistant LaVall Jordan as its next head coach, CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein reports.

Jordan, an assistant at Michigan for six seasons, was previously under consideration for the job at his alma mater Butler when Brad Stevens left for the NBA. Before helping coach the Wolverines he was on the staff at Iowa and with the aforementioned Bulldogs.

Milwaukee was 20–13 in 2015–16, and fired coach Rob Jeter following the season.
