Ole Miss will conduct an investigation into former offensive lineman Laremy Tunsil’s comments about receiving money while at school, reports the Associated Press.

Tunsil, who was selected Thursday with the No. 13 pick in the NFL draft, denied, then admitted to taking money from a coach while at Ole Miss during his draft-night press conference.

Tunsil was involved in multiple draft-night controversies regarding his Twitter and Instagram accounts, which were both reportedly hacked. A video of Tunsil smoking out of a bong was posted to his Twitter account just before the draft began, while his Instagram account was later hacked to post screenshots of texts between Tunsil and a coach discussing the payment of Tunsil’s mother’s electric bill.

KAPLAN: Laremy Tunsil’s Nightmare to Remember

According to a university statement, Ole Miss is “aware of the reports from the NFL Draft regarding Laremy Tunsil and potential NCAA violations during his time at Ole Miss” and “will aggressively investigate and fully cooperate with the NCAA and the SEC.”
