Key's 13 points spark Alabama past Charleston Southern 76-46

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) Braxton Key scored a game-high 14 points and grabbed six rebounds and Alabama defeated Charleston Southern 76-46.

Key's first two 3-point shots sparked a 10-0 run for the Crimson Tide (4-2). Alabama quickly took control of the game from there as the Buccaneers (3-3) trailed by at least 10 points for the final 32 minutes of the game.

Avery Johnson Jr. and Ar'Mond Davis also finished in double figures for the Crimson Tide with 11 and 10 points respectively.

Armel Potter led the Buccaneers in points (12) and assists (3). Alabama's success continued after halftime when Dazon Ingram added a 3-pointer and a layup to score the first five points in the second half. Ingram was 4 of 6 from the field for nine points and finished with a game-high four assists while turning the ball over just once.
