Kennesaw State's Turnover Plank Is Better Than Miami's Chain
I'm going to take a lot of flack for this, but Kennesaw State's turnover plank is way better than Miami's turnover chain.
Yes, it's a piece of wood with scrawled on eyes and a squiggly line for a mouth, but it's also very effective.
The school forced a program-high five turnovers Saturday to clinch the Big South Conference and its first FCS playoff spot in program history against Monmouth.
The plank has been working as well as Miami's chain, perhaps better as the Hurricanes had only three turnovers Saturday.
On the design side of things, Miami literally has a chain with a giant "U," whereas the plank resembles a cartoon character from the show Ed, Edd n Eddy.
I mean, we know who wins the creativity battle here.
What's better is that the plank has a fun backstory, rather than just an incentive brought about by a coach — no hate to the Canes, as the plan is clearly working.
