LSU Guard Hailey Van Lith to Transfer to TCU, per Report

After a year with LSU, guard Hailey Van Lith is moving on.

Van Lith has committed to play for TCU in 2025, according to a Thursday morning report from Talia Goodman of The Next. She entered the transfer portal on April 4, marking her second entry into the portal in the last two years.

In 33 games with the Tigers in 2024, she averaged 11.6 points, 2.4 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game. LSU reached the Elite Eight, where it fell to Iowa in a rematch of last year's national championship; Van Lith struggled mightily in that game, shooting 2-for-10 from the field and failing to contain Hawkeyes guard Caitlin Clark.

Van Lith came to the Tigers from Louisville, where she forged a solid career from 2021-23. She was named to the All-ACC team twice, and helped the Cardinals qualify for three Elite Eights and a Final Four.

The Horned Frogs are seeking to build on a 21-12 record in '24, their first season under new coach Mark Campbell.
