The former Bearcat called time on a 13-year career on Saturday.

Cincinnati Bearcats legend Josh Harrison announced his retirement from professional baseball on Saturday morning.

The former Bearcat announced the news with the following post and lengthy statement on social media.

"The ride was nothing short of amazing," Harrison wrote. "God is good!"

Harrison played for the Bearcats from 2006-08. He won Big East Co-Player of the Year in 2008, enjoyed a 13-year career during his time as a professional.

He became a two-time All-Star and spent time in the majors with six different franchises, including eight seasons with the Pittsburgh Pirates.

He most recently appeared in the majors with the Phillies in 2023 but had a brief stint in the minors with the Reds last season.
