Vandegrift (Austin, Texas) forward Greg Brown will end his official visit tour this weekend at Michigan.

Brown, a five-star forward has already taken officials to Kentucky, North Carolina, Memphis, Texas and Auburn.

“I’m really excited about this visit, but I’m a little sad because this is my last one,” Brown said. “It’s been fun, and I know this one will be the same. My dad was talking to them at first and then we decided to take a visit there.”

Brown said he’s only had one conversation with Michigan head coach Juwan Howard before and is “really looking forward to choppin’ it up with him and learning about everything.”

“He’s a legend,” Brown said. “Really cool guy. I saw the ‘Fab Five’ documentary a while ago so it’ll be cool to get to know him and see what’s possible.”

Landing Brown would propel the Wolverines’ 2020 haul to the top three and potentially beyond after securing commitments from Word of God Christian Academy (Raleigh, N.C.) five-star forward Isaiah Todd, three talented four-star prospects – Montverde (Fla.) Academy shooting guard Zeb Jackson, DeMatha (Hyattsville, Md.) center Hunter Dickinson and Gonzaga (Washington, D.C.) forward Terrance Williams – and University School (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) wing Jace Howard, Juwan’s son.

Todd and Brown were both named to the McDonald’s All American Game, which will tip April 1 in Houston.

This season, Brown is averaging 28 points, 13 rebounds, three assists and two steals a game.

“They play Michigan State this weekend so it’s gonna be a crazy environment, I already know,” Brown said. “I’ll take some time after the visit to finish up my season and then I’ll start to really weigh things out with my family. I’m planning to decide in the spring.”
