Paolo Banchero's official visit tour for his junior year will make its last stop in Spokane this weekend when the 6-foot-10 forward visits Gonzaga.

Banchero, a consensus top-five player in the 2021 class, has already taken officials to Duke, Kentucky, Tennessee and North Carolina; Washington, Memphis, Michigan, Georgetown and Baylor round out his top 10.

"I'm really looking forward to this Gonzaga visit," said Banchero, who hails from O'Dea (Seattle). "This will be the only visit where I'll be able to see an actual game. All of the other visits were in the fall so I'm excited to be able to experience the atmosphere."

Banchero turned in a dominant summer on the Nike EYBL where he averaged 23 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and 2.5 blocks a game for Seattle Rotary.

He went on to be named Nike EYBL Underclassmen of the Year and also took home MVP honors at the prestigious NBPA Top 100 Camp in June.

This season, Banchero is averaged 22 points and 10 rebounds for O'Dea.

As for the next steps in regard to his recruitment, Banchero said he'll trim hist list "somewhere around July," but doesn't have a number in mind that he'd like to get it down to.

"Not sure on that just yet," Banchero said. "I don't have any particular number in mind. I'm just gathering information at this point and after that I'll start to figure out who is standing out more."
