Signing Day: Final Prospect Predictions

As the class of 2020 recruiting cycle comes to a close, the top college football prospects still on the board have announcement plans laid out. SI All-American makes its final predictions before pen meets paper.

National Signing Day, whether it's called 2.0, part two or even the late signing day following the explosion of the Early Signing Period -- it's here.

The large portion of all college football recruiting classes of 2020 are to be filled up by day's end en route to a national championship on the football field. Before that point, SI All-American will crown a national recruiting champion based on just how the last few dominoes shake out.

Before the first National Letter of Intent arrives we take one final shot at projecting where top unsigned prospects will land when it counts most.

DE Jordan Burch - South Carolina - The South Carolina commitment will sign with the Gamecocks over LSU in a close finish. The last visit to the hometown school over the final weekend seems to have quelled the bulk of the concern of LSU's unofficial visit with Burch.

Announcement Time: 1:00 pm ET

DT McKinnley Jackson - Alabama - This race has long been billed as a four team battle between LSU, Alabama, Auburn and Texas A&M but most of the buzz has centered around A&M and Alabama down the stretch. The Crimson Tide held a strong advantage recently and we hear it would have been tough for any program to eliminate the gap.

Announcement Time: 10:30 am ET

OT Broderick Jones - Georgia - The longtime Bulldog commitment all but shut down his recruitment following his UGA official visit last weekend. He was to trip to Auburn, long considered the top threat, just before signing day but cancelled.

Announcement Time: 10:00 am ET

QB Malik Hornsby - Arkansas - Built as a Baylor-Arkansas battle down the stretch, we're tracking the visits here and going with the Sam Pittman/Kendal Briles combination in the SEC over the new Baylor regime. A cancelled trip to Waco at the last minute seemingly wrapped this one up.

Announcement Time: 3:00 pm ET

DB Avantae Williams - Florida - A longtime Florida lean with favorable location and family ties to the program, this recruitment has seemed like a matter of when and not if. Florida, especially as it hired Ed Reed, made things more interesting than originally considered.

Announcement Time: 12:30 pm ET

OL Sedrick Van Pran - Georgia - Another longtime UGA commitment up front and another one who sticks. Alabama, Florida, LSU and others tried to make a late push to no avail. SVP was on campus the same weekend Jones was back in Athens.

Announcement Time: 11:00 am ET

RB Ashaad Clayton - Colorado - The theme of big-time prospects sticking with longtime commitments continues as the Buffaloes hold onto the Louisiana star. Florida was considered the top threat.

Announcement Time: 11:00 am ET

DE Alfred Collins - Texas - Signing Day eve check ins with SI All-American sources in Texas all came up burnt orange. Collins had Alabama and Oklahoma as finalists.

Announcement Time: 4:50 pm ET

RB Jahmyr Gibbs - Georgia Tech - The new staff in Atlanta picks up perhaps its biggest true recruiting win versus blue bloods with the SI All-American back. Florida pushed hardest while LSU and Ohio State were late considerations as well.

Announcement Time: 12:30 pm ET

OL Marcus Henderson - Arkansas - Henderson announced a final pair of Arkansas and Ole Miss on the eve of signing day and the new staff in Fayetteville wins out led by new coach and the best O-line recruiter in the country in Sam Pittman.

Announcement Time: 10:30 am ET

DE Princely Umanmielen - Baylor - The Bears and new coach Dave Aranda won't go quietly within state lines in picking up the double-digit sack man. Umanmielen was once committed to Texas and there was a lot of expectation of him returning to UT when all was said and done.

Announcement Time: 3:20 pm ET

DL Jayson Jones - Oregon - The longtime Alabama commitment shut down his visits elsewhere after his official visit to Eugene and we think there is a big reason why. Georgia Tech was very much in this race, too.

Announcement Time: 3:00 pm ET

DB Ennis Rakestraw - Alabama - The biggest question here in tracking Rakestraw late in the game has been numbers. Can Alabama find a spot for him or will he stay within state lines with Texas? It may be that simple but Alabama hasn't slowed down in its pursuit of the long DB since offering.

Announcement Time: 9:00 am ET

WR Malachi Wideman - Ole Miss - You knew Lane Kiffin would make a strong mark as soon as he could on the trail so why not with an SI All-American with football and hoops talent? The longtime Florida State commitment hasn't been back to campus since the first weekend Mike Norvell took over.

Announcement Time: 1:00 pm ET

TE Dee Beckwith - Tennessee - Florida looked like the team to beat for a while but Tennessee has been a strong contender and has the location advantage in not being nearly as far from his hometown of Florence, Ala.

Announcement Time: 9:15 am ET
