Breaking news in college football, The Big Ten has decided to opt-out of a fall football season.
The conference made the huge announcement on Tuesday citing medical concerns as the number of Coronavirus cases continue to soar in our country.
They also specifically referred to recent data regarding heart issues suffered by some young people (including athletes) who were infected with the COVID-19 virus.
The Big Ten says it's aiming for a spring football season but offering no guarantees for when they may actually play.
All eyes are now on the Pac-12 and sources have told Sports Illustrated the conference is expected to follow the Big Ten's decision.
