Kansas men’s basketball has self-imposed a four-game suspension for head coach Bill Self to begin its 2022–23 season. Assistant coach Kurtis Townsend will also be suspended for four games.

Kansas men’s basketball has self-imposed a four-game suspension for head coach Bill Self to begin its 2022–23 season. The self-imposed sanctions stem from the 2017 NCAA investigation into the Jayhawks program. Assistant coach Kurtis Townsend will also be suspended for four games.
