The Trail Blazers Lost to the Wizards at Basketball, But Beat Them At Twitter

The Wizards defeated the Trail Blazers 100-90 Monday night, and shortly thereafter a dormant Twitter dig resurfaced.

Back in December, following a poor early-season showing, the Trail Blazers tweeted out a request to join the underwhelming Eastern Conference. After last night’s victory, the Wizards dug up the old tweet and mockingly advanced the narrative.

Then the Blazers put an end to it all.
