2014 NFL Draft

The Houston Texans made former South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney the No.1 pick in Thursday's 2014 NFL Draft, a move Clowney may have foreshadowed earlier, with a run to the jewelry store.

According to TMZ, Clowney, along with a handful of other NFL draftees, allegedly made their way to Rafaello & Co. (home of the relatively famous "Jacob the Jeweler") on Thursday morning where they each threw down an impressive chunk of cash for some new bling.

So what did the talented defender purchase? Quite a bit apparently:

24k gold necklace with 10 ounce gold bar surrounded in a frame peppered in diamonds (estimated value: $20k)

Presidential Rolex watch with black face (estimated value: $45k)

Gold angel pendant with diamonds (estimated value: unknown but expensive)

In addition, Clowney reportedly bought a handful of gifts for close friends and family.

Johnny Manziel also laid down some dough, picking up a Presidential Rolex for a crisp $30K while Greg Robinson (#2) and Khalil Mack (#5) cemented their baller status with $123K and $84K purchases respectively.
