Japanese Baseball Team Recreates X-Men Poster
X-Men: Days of Future Past opens tonight at midnight, and although the movie is getting all sorts of tie-in promotions in the US, this promotion by the Hanshin Tigers managed to take the tie-ins up a level while deftly avoiding copyright infringement claims. To advertise their upcoming game, the minor league Japanese team recreated the movie's poster.
X-Men set to open in Japan on May 30, while the baseball game is set to take place on May 31 and June 1. Uncanny timing.
