The Governor of New York just gave all state employees an extra long lunch for the World Cup

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has caught World Cup fever and the government workers of New York are reaping the benefits.

Cuomo sent out a letter shortly before kickoff giving all state workers an extended lunch break to support the American side, presumably in response to the Jurgen Klinsmann note sent out this morning asking for bosses to give employees the afternoon off so that they could support the USMNT.

Good news for the workers of New York, terrible news for anyone trying to cross the George Washington Bridge.
