An Independent League team is going to wear a jersey with nipples

Wearing wacky jerseys is a popular publicity stunt in minor league baseball. But usually the jerseys are just delightfully tacky. These ones the Atlantic League's Bridgeport Bluefish just unveiled are downright weird.

Nipples.

On a baseball jersey.

For "Military Appreciation."

It's worth noting that the Bluefish don't have a Military Appreciation Night (or Nipple Appreciation Night) listed on their schedule.

Imagine how the players are going to feel wearing these. Poor Dontrelle Willis, just holding out hope for another crack at the majors. Former Rookie of the Year and Cy Young runner-up Dontrelle Willis, wearing a shirt with nipples.
