Killing Time During a Rain Delay

A thunderstorm led to a power outage during Sunday's Rays-Angels game and the Rays decided to entertain the fans in style ... by showing a baseball-themed Looney Tunes video on the outfield scoreboard. The delay lasted just 19 minutes and Tampa still lost 7-5. On the bright side, the loss didn't discourage the Rays from donning tuxedos for their fifth themed road trip of the season.

Air McGary

The NBA held its annual rookie photo shoot and Andrew Wiggins, Zach LaVine and Glenn Robinson III decided to pass the time with an impromptu dunk contest. Unfortunately for them, Mitch McGary stole the show.

Three Items About Cake

Pittsburgh forward Evgeni Malkin turned 28 and celebrated with a penguin-themed cake.  Not to be outdone, two Texas A&M fans got married and decided to turn their wedding cake into a replica of Kyle Field. On the not-so-positive cake news front, the South Carolina Gamecocks football squad self-reported seven infractions to the NCAA, including the transgression of "impermissible iced decorations on a [sic] cookie cakes given to prospects."

Lovely Lady of the Day

Barbie Blank, who you may know better as former WWE Diva Kelly Kelly, got engaged over the weekend to Anaheim Ducks defenseman Sheldon Souray. Her original gimmick as a pro wrestler was that she loved to strip and hated having clothes on. You know, just like most girls. Anyhow, she earns today's LLOD honors (click here for full-size gallery).

Alabama Loves Its Football

It was Alabama Fan Day on Sunday and this video of Alabama fans sprinting through Bryant-Denny Stadium to get to Nick Saban is worth a couple minutes of your time. Of course, those who didn't sprint to Saban were caught in this ridiculously long line, so who am I to judge?

Fancy Hot Dog Alert

I may not have the sources/connections of a top writer like Lee Jenkins, but if there's one thing Hot Clicks is going to cover, it's hot dogs. With that said, meet the "double-barrel Wagyu hot dog with pork chicharrones" that will be served at Levi's Stadium in San Francisco this year. Also, feel free to email me (andy_gray@simail.com) any of your own hot dog tips. My inbox is always open.

Roger Clemens turned 51 today. In this 1986 photo, Clemens and Dwight Gooden talk on the field before Game 3 of the World Series. The two would go on to become two of the most popular and controversial athletes in the sport's history. For more classic sports photos, visit the SI Vault on Twitter.

Odds & Ends

Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union sent out a "Save the Date" video for their upcoming wedding ... Gisele sent Tom Brady a memorable birthday greeting ... Jon Lester took out a full-page ad in The Boston Globe thanking fans for their support ... The New Yorker has a short profile on the man who creates the busts for the Pro Football Hall of Fame ... Former NFL receiver Reche Caldwell was arrested for the third time this year ... Finally, Taylor Swift is in the news for something I don't find incredibly annoying ... Here's a bird pooping on Vladimir Putin as he makes a speech (11-second mark) ... Jennifer Lawrence is single again. I predict she starts dating a professional athlete within three months. My best guess is Mike Trout.

Wladimir Klitschko/Shannon Briggs Video of the Day

This is remarkably fake but still entertaining. They should just fight and get it over with.

How else would you expect a gymnast to throw this?
