Arsenal's team store sold out of women's shirts on the first day

After years with Nike, Arsenal has a new kit sponsor this season, Puma, so supporters are buying replicas quicker than the club can keep up with. During the Gunners' first game of the Premier League season against Crystal Palace, the club shop sold out of women's shirts.

Arsenal has a new kit sponsor this season, so supporters are buying replicas quicker than the club can keep up with.

During the Gunners' first game of the season, the club shop sold out of women's shirts, according to the Huffington Post. 

One female season ticket holder interviewed by the Huffington Post said an employee told her the store stocked more women's shirts than ever before and they still sold out. They aren't expected back in stock until September or October, she said.

In the meantime, it looks like fans will have to keep wearing their outdated Nike kits. What a shame.
