Fashion is cyclical and Chris Douglas-Roberts thinks it's time to bring the short shorts back to the NBA. The Clippers guard announced on Twitter that he is switching to medium shorts because he "never felt the big shorts. Short shorts wavy man. Fools in big shorts hoopin look like Bone Collector out there." In honor of CDR, I searched for the best NBA short shorts photos I could find and the jackpot was hit with the 1987 NBA Three-Point Contest participants. That's a lot of leg.

NBA Pokemon

The offseason of NBA Twitter memes continued last night with #NBAPokemon. I missed the entire Pokemon phenomenon so this didn't do much for me. I still like #NBACartoons the most, followed by#NBAMovies#NBASitcoms and #NBAMusicians

One Way To Earn Free Text Books

Scott Dalrymple, the new president of Columbia College in Missouri, is offering free text books for a year if a lucky student can beat him in Madden NFL 25.The school will hold a tournament in October and the winner will play Dalrymple. If he or she wins, the prize is free books. If he or she loses, it's expel time (just kidding).

Lovely Lady of the Day

I spotted Shiram Diniz among the models towering over Ryan Seacrestduring the Fashion Rocks special a couple nights ago and can't believe I've never featured her. She earns today's LLOD honors (click here for full-size gallery).

Scott Mitchell Weight Update

The former Lions quarterback, who looks more like an offensive lineman these days, is appearing on the new season of America's Biggest Loser. As part of the show, Mitchell, of course, had to take off his shirt and step on the scale. The result wasnt pretty.

12 Greatest Things In Hockey Video Game History

Puck Daddy is celebrating the release of NHL 15 with his list of the 12 greatest things in hockey video game history. And as a big Swingers fan, it's good to see "make Wayne Gretzky's head bleed" included in the list.

Quin Snyder and Danny Ferry :: SI

As Danny Ferry's future as GM of the Hawks remains in doubt, we go back to February 1988 for today's Vault photo. In the pic, Ferry enjoys lunch with Duke teammate (and current Utah Jazz head coach) Quin Snyder. The duo played together for four seasons and played in three Final Fours (1986, 1988 and 1989), including the 1986 national championship game. Bear on Golf Course!

This is the best golf video I've seen all year.

Steph Curry Can Shoot

Stephen Curry, Kenneth Faried and James Harden take shots from the bench during break in a Team USA practice. Guess who was the first to convert?

Roger Clemens. Movie Star.

This is the trailer for 108 Stitches, a new (straight to DVD) baseball comedy that looks like it stole its plot directly from Major League. Hall of Very Good has 10 reasons you should watch the movie but I think there's just one you need to know: Roger Clemens is in it.
