Philadelphia 76ers Nerlens Noel is planning to recreate Rocky's famous run through the streets of Philadelphia on Friday, culminating in a run to the top of the Art Museum steps while joined by over 100 middle schoolers.

The run will be taped as part of an NBA TV special and will also serve as the launch event for Noel's charity 5k run, which will follow parts of the iconic route, according to Philly.com.

Starting between 1 and 1:30, Noel will run at the various spots around the city that Stallone used in his movies’ iconic training sequences, including the Italian Market, Independence Hall and Kelly Drive. Noel’s “run” will culminate around 3 p.m. at the Art Museum, where 100 to 150 middle-school and high school students will join him as he sprints up the steps.

Warner Bros. in talks to acquire the entire WWE tape library

After climbing the step's everyone will be treated to free pizza from sponsor Papa John's, instead of the grosser but far more authentic galls full of raw eggs.
