After host Jason Wilde offered up a few marijuana-related puns, he asked Rodgers what his on-field smoking gestures before certain plays meant. “That was just a tribute to Jay Cutler. Because there's that Smoking Jay Website. So I was just doing a tribute to Jay there," Rodgers replied, according to CBS Sports.

Rodgers was referring to popular Tumblr site Smokin' Jay Cutler, which posts images of an apathetic-looking Bears quarterback with a Photoshopped cigarette in his mouth.

When pressed by Wilde, Rodgers seemed to back off of his assertion a little bit, and shrugged off the gesture as a "dummy signal. That's the whole thing. It's you know, like, smoking dope. You're a dummy if you smoke dope."
