Either Minnesota Timberwolves guard Kevin Martin in not being totally honest, or he spent the entire offseason living in a remote cabin with no contact with the outside world, because he told reporters that he just found out Kevin Love was traded this week.

Despite the story dominating NBA headlines since the last season, and finally coming to a head with a blockbuster deal that pairs his former teammate up with LeBron James in Cleveland, Martin says he found out when he first reported back to the Timberwolves, according to the Star-Tribune's Jerry Zgoda.

“I didn’t know Kevin Love got traded until yesterday. I’m not big on looking at blogs and all that.”

While it would be great if Martin had actually found a way to avoid the big news all summer, he later texted USA Today's Sam Amick saying he was just trying to liven up the teams media day with the comments.
