Lions TE Eric Ebron starts himself in fantasy football as motivation

Lions rookie tight end Eric Ebron has a much better fantasy football strategy than Larry Donnell of the Giants.

While Donnell made perhaps the biggest fantasy football gaffe of the season by leaving himself on the bench the night he caught three touchdowns, Ebron has a smarter plan.

Ebron told the Detroit Free Press drafted himself because "I got to make myself feel like I need to do something."

Since Joseph Fauria missed last week's game after spraining his ankle chasing a peeing puppy, Ebron was the team's second tight end. He ended up catching his first career touchdown.

Bills QB Kyle Orton says reporter asked him 'crap question'

But Ebron's team, "E"bron not "L"ebron, is 0-4, and it's partly his own team's fault. Ebron started Aaron Rodgers at quarterback in Week 3 ... against the Lions. Rodgers had 162 yards and one touchdown.
