Royals fan Katie Castan became a Twitter sensation during last week's American League Wild Card Game when TBS showed her holding a sign which read, "If we win, he's buying me a puppy!"

Now, four Royals wins later, Castan is the proud owner of a Pembroke Welsh corgi. 

After the Royals won, Castan and her boyfriend, Joe Onofrio, made plans to visit a Kansas City animal shleter, according to the Kansas City Star. But they heard about a family which was trying to find a home for a corgi named Lucy. Castan went to see it and "immediately fell in love," she told the Star.

Castan, Onofrio and Lucy will get to keep cheering for the Royals for at least four more games. Kansas City is playing the Orioles in the ALCS.
