Bill Murray abandons 'Late Show' to keep up with his marathon training

Thursday October 16th, 2014

The New York City Marathon is on Nov. 2, which means Bill Murray is running out of time to get his body into shape for the grueling run, a fact he realized mid-interview with David Letterman on Wednesday's edition of The Late Show.

After Letterman explains that the race is coming soon, Murray lathers his hands up with Ben-Gay and hits the streets to get his training in for the day, although he does need a quick water and pretzel break.

After a clip from his new movie, St. Vincent, Murray returns to the Ed Sullivan Theater covered in mylar and riding in a pedicab, but triumphant nonetheless.
