#tbt: Manute Bol was very, very tall
On this day 52 years ago, Manute Bol was born in Sudan. When that baby grew up, he grew way up. Bol holds the record as the NBA's tallest player ever, at 7' 7" (an title he shares with Gheorghe Mureșan). Bol passed away four years ago from a rare skin condition, but his height has yet to be matched in professional basketball. To celebrate his memory, here are some photos of him looking exceptionally tall.
