LeBron James has posted a new video to Facebook, giving fans a detailed explanation of the visual references in his latest commercial for Beats by Dre headphones.

In the video, LeBron explains some of the childhood difficulties that still drive him today, and reiterates that Akron, Ohio, and not championships or MVP trophies, have been the engine driving his success.

The commercial features James working out and walking through his old high school gym while flashbacks of major events in his life are shown, including his home being torn down and his mother struggling to provide for the family.
