Colt McCoy was a pitchman for a local drug store in high school

Colt McCoy led the Washington Redskins to a win over the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night in his first NFL start since 2011, and what better way to celebrate the accomplishment than by remembering when he was just a high school quarterback and pitchman for a drug store.

Colt McCoy led the Washington Redskins to a win over the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night in his first NFL start since 2011, which served as yet another reminder to his family of how far he's come since he was just a high school quarterback and pitchman for a drug store.

Larry Brown Sports unearthed this gem with Jim Ned High quarterback McCoy touting the virtues of his uncle's pharmacy on television.

Even back then McCoy showed poise under pressure with the bright lights and even showed NFL toughness levels by taking an immunization shot without flinching.

It is truly a wonder that this commercial did not somehow take away his NCAA eligibility.
