Ahead of Game 7, Royals fans tweet what they want to #WinItFor

The last time the Kansas City Royals won the World Series was in 1985. While that drought is only the 12th-longest in baseball, the fact that the Royals hadn't made the playoffs between then and now makes this postseason that much sweeter for Kansas City fans.
During the build-up to Game 7, a Royals blog called "Royals Authority" gave readers a sentence to finish: "Win it for..."
The answers started in the comments.
My 84 year old grandma that calls me crying after every game because I don’t think she ever though she would see this again.
Win it for my 8 year old son, so that he can experience half of the excitement I did when I was 8 years old in 1985.

But it was on Twitter where the trend really spread.

My Mother & my Grandparents...may they rest in peace.
My sons, @StRsj & Phil...they deserve a title.
My town...because I 💙 KC.

#WinItFor me because I care far too much about grown men playing a children's game and I wouldn't want it any other way.

Also, #WinItFor every person who stuck with the #Royals through the terrible times. We may not play the games, but we've earned this.
