Charles Barkley is going on a hunger strike until the Lakers win

TNT analyst Charles Barkley may be dropping a lot more weight this season thanks to a promise he made on Thursday night's Inside the NBA to not eat another meal until the Los Angeles Lakers win a game.

The team is off to a rough start after dropping its first five games of the season, and they do not play again until Sunday when the 2-3 Charlotte Hornets come to town.

Chuck immediately backtracks on his promised hunger strike, probably when he realizes he would be going at least 72 hours without food and possibly several weeks, as seven of the Lakers next eight opponents made the playoffs last season.

Hopefully the Lakers will grab a win in time for Barkley to enjoy the holiday season.
