The Cheshire Phoenix of the British Basketball League have signed Paul "Tiny" Sturgess, a 26-year-old center who is also the world's tallest basketball player at 7-foot-8.

Sturgess will join the team after finishing a two-year stint with the Harlem Globetrotters, during which he gained notoriety for his "No Jump Dunk," which showed off his ability to slam the ball home without even leaving the floor.

Cam Newton's Twitter account was begging to get hacked

In addition to holding the title of tallest professional basketball player, Sturgess is also the second-tallest living Englishman, and he is happy to get to play the game in his home country, according to the team.

"I have been enjoying my time back at home in England and for the chance to play in the BBL whilst I am here is something I will relish. I am excited to join my new teammates and hope to fulfill whatever role is given to me!”
