Last month the Toledo Walleye of the ECHL announced they would be holding a particularly great theme night with the team wearing Batman jerseys while the Evansville IceMen would wear Riddler-inspired gear. Well, the contest took place last night and, yes, there was a fight.

Cody Lampl of the Walleye squared off with the IceMen's Kevin Harvey in the third period, and judging by the speed of the fight and the post-brawl head-patting, it seems like the fight was inspired more by giving the fans a show than any real animus between the two.

While The Riddler seems to dominate the fight, the Batmen/Walleye won by a convincing 6-1 margin, so the citizens of Gotham can rest easy for awhile.
