When the San Francisco 49ers first announced its stadium partnership with Levi's, they jokingly nicknamed the new home the "Field of Jeans," and now the company has gone literal with the moniker, covering the turf with donated denim for a day.

The company collected almost 19,000 pairs of jeans to be donated to Goodwill, but first it spread them out over the 49ers' home field to create an impressive visual.

Hopefully they left a few pair behind for quarterback Colin Kapernick, who must always be searching for the perfect jeans that will go with all 400 pairs of shoes in his collection.
