LeBron James endorses friend Johnny Manziel in Browns QB battle

LeBron James was asked about the Cleveland Browns quarterback situation today, and offered his support to his friend Johnny Manziel over current starter Brian Hoyer.

LeBron asked about Hoyer/Manziel: "I'm one of (Manziel's) biggest supporters ... He's part of the family so of course I want him out there"

James and Manziel were friends before Cleveland drafted Manziel in May and before LeBron decided to return to the Cavaliers. They have been seen hanging out quite a bit  in town and attending one another's games.

Johnny Football recorded his first NFL touchdown on Sunday after Cleveland benched Hoyer in the fourth quarter while trailing the Buffalo Bills 20-3. The Browns went on to lose the game 26-10.

Why reporters wanted to know who James endorsed remains a mystery.
