The promotion has been so popular already that more than 700 people have already shopped, and the offer has been extended for another week.

It's not the first time a furniture store has run a similar promotion, and if the Buckeyes fill the requirements it won't be the first time a store gets burned.

A store in College Station, Texas, owed fans more than $1 million after the Aggies beat South Carolina by more than 10 points in their season opener, and the Houston Astros won fans $4 million in refunds in September for not losing 100 games in 2014.

To reach the Jan. 12 national championship, Ohio State will have to beat Alabama on New Year's Day.
