Ohio State's staff dressed up for Christmas as Santa and his elves

Monday December 22nd, 2014

Ohio State's strength staff decided to celebrate Christmas early by dressing up as Santa Claus and his elves to surprise head coach Urban Meyer and the Buckeye players.

The surprise came before practice as Ohio State prepares for its playoff game against No. 1 Alabama on Jan. 1 in the Sugar Bowl.

Pau Gasol took teammate Nazr Mohammed to the opera

Santa and his elves stopped by this morning to greet the players before practice

The team probably asked Santa for a victory over the Crimson Tide as a late Christmas present.
