Nationals' Jayson Werth surprises family of fallen soldier for Christmas

Nationals outfielder Jayson Werth surprised the children of a fallen military member for a holiday treat this week.
Through an organization called Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), Werth met Michael and Alexa and helped teach them some baseball skills.

"We were able to lift the spirits of a family that has lost a loved one," Werth said. "This time of year reminds me of family. If I could do something to help a family who has lost one of our nation's heroes, I'm glad to do it."
