J.J. Watt made the AP All-Pro team at two different positions
J.J. Watt's season was so good that the AP named him to the All-Pro team -- twice.
The Houston Texans star was the leading vote-getter at defensive end, his natural position, with 45 out of 50. Of course, that made him a first-team selection.
But at defensive tackle, behind first-teamers Ndamukong Suh and Marcell Dareus and second-team Gerald McCoy, is Watt again, with five votes at the position.
Whether it's a result of voters not knowing the difference between the positions or just incredible praise for Watt's latest remarkable season, there aren't many arguments to be had. In his fourth season, Watt has 78 tackles, 20.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries and one interception -- and three receiving touchdowns.

Getting those 20.5 sacks made him the first NFL player to reach that mark in multiple seasons, and he's in contention to become the first defensive player to win the MVP award since Lawrence Taylor in 1986.
There was also a bit more fun to be had with the Pro Bowl rosters, of course. Chicago Bears guard Kyle Long's five votes were labeled with him as a St. Louis Ram and Atlanta Falcons kick returner Devin Hester was returned to Chicago.
Reporters were also apparently unfazed by their contentious relationship with Marshawn Lynch, who earned seven votes to be named a second-team running back... plus one at fullback, a position he does not play.
