New Jersey governor Chris Christie has become a fixture in the owner's box at Dallas Cowboys home games, cheering on the team along with Jerry Jones, and he was there again last night to celebrate the team's first playoff victory since 2009 with a great big hug.
New Jersey governor and Cowboys fan Chris Christie has appeared at the side of team owner Jerry Jones during games before, and he was there again last night to celebrate the team's first playoff victory since 2009 with a great big hug.
The governor opens up the celebration looking for a high five, but when he sees the opportunity to be a part of a group hug he goes for it.
Christie has said his love for the Cowboys dates to Roger Staubach's time under center for the team, according to the New York Post, despite much of his state rooting for NFC East rivals the New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles.
