Saturday Night Live celebrated its 40th anniversary on Sunday and put together a Hall of Fame-worthy reel of the show's greatest sports moments.

The full episode can be viewed on NBC.com, but here's what you need to know about the sports reel: Derek Jeter and Peyton Manning came out to host, Manning remained viewers that he had to peg a little kid for his skit, athletes from LeBron James and Michael Jordan to Dennis Rodman and Wayne Gretzky are shown and the skits that are re-lived include Will Ferrell's legendary Harry Caray impression, Tim Meadows revealing O.J. Simpson's guilt on the telestrator and quite a few athlete cross-dressing.

All in all, a fantastic way to honor SNL's 40th anniversary. You could make a whole show just out of the sports skits.
