Rolling Stone thinks Knicks may make the playoffs

Rolling Stone recently published a story announcing Eric Clapton's plan to celebrate his 70th birthday with a pair of concerts at Madison Square Garden, and the magazine mentioned that the dates may get moved around, should the Knicks make the playoffs.

Yes you read that correctly, Madison Square Garden is still planning contingencies for a Knicks playoff run.

While it is very likely the Rangers will play in the postseason, it seems pretty improbable that the Knicks, who are 16 games behind the eighth seeded Heat in the loss column, will be making an appearance.

Perhaps this whole Knicks season has just been a birthday gift from fellow musician and Knicks owner James Dolan to Clapton.
