We bring you the first animal delay of the MLB season.
This curious bird plopped down in the outfield grass during Friday's Indians-Tigers game. It played a little hard-to-get with the grounds crew, playing dead and then flying away. Good instincts for an outfielder.
The bird was eventually captured, via the legendary strategy pioneered for decades by falconers known only as the "cardboard box."
Nothing better than baseball on a Friday afternoon.
