Giants fan throws first pitch nearly four years after being attacked

Giants fan Bryan Stow, who was attacked in the Dodgers Stadium parking lot nearly four years ago, threw out the first pitch at a minor league game.

San Francisco Giants fan Bryan Stow, who was attacked in a Dodger Stadium parking lot nearly four years ago, threw out the first pitch at the Class-A San Jose Giants game on Thursday.

Stow was assaulted in 2011 and was left brain damaged and disabled. He is still recovering and used a walker to take the field. A sheriff's deputy delivered the ball to him after the deputy landed in a helicopter in centerfield.

"A lot was going through my brain," Stow told the San Jose Mercury News. "I would love to do it again. When do they play again? Tomorrow? I can be here tomorrow."

Stow also told the Mercury News that he plans to attend San Francisco's game against the Dodgers at home next Thursday.

In the below video, Stow talks about throwing out the first pitch and what it meant to him.
