Marlins slugger Giancarlo Stanton is well-known for his power displays. The large dimensions of Miami's stadium provide a majestic backdrop for his frequent highlight-reel shots.
So, his third-inning, no-doubter bomb off Braves pitcher Alex Wood, though impressive, was largely unsurprising. It was what followed that made Stanton's dinger just a little more exciting.
